I have a "to do" list, but more importantly i have a "to stop" list. I don't read newspapers in the morning. I read self help inspirational and spiritual literature that uplift me. I take vacations as a means of investing in Memories with my children.

Have You Got A Father?

Wise people learn from instructions while others learn from experience. That's why a life of fatherlessness is always full of struggles.
Who are you humble enough to listen to & take instructions from? On whose shoulder do you climb to see further than your eyes could ever see?
Know however that you have to be careful with who you listen to because in the long run you are following your father's father.

A Poem For the Mothers: The Woman I See In You.

As a toddler it was her face i found,
even when all were gone, she found her strength,
her candle never go out in the night,
she's as a palm tree standing high into the cloud.

At the break of the day she was a seed,
what i saw was a girl without a breast,
she became a woman forever known by her fruit,
but in the set, all saw her glorious seed.

A woman whose strength is as the eagle,
her beauty surpass that of the peacocks,
her character is a jewel of inestimable value,
her door remain lock until he is allowed to find the keys.

She'd never judge after the sight of her eye.
Yes, strength can deceive, and beauty may be vain,
but the fear of the Lord runs in her vein.
That's the woman i see in you, and that's the woman you'd be.

This piece is dedicated to Mothers, including those in training.
